Due to overwhelming demand we will be expanding our selection of African countries in our standard 1.5"x2.5" flag patches.
We expect to have all current sub-continent African countries in our flag patch inventory by mid-April 2008. We also hope to add a few retired/vintage flag patches of countries not in existence any longer both in Africa and other continents (Zaire , East Germany, USSR-Soviet Union etc...)
Please check back here often for an update as new countries are added to our inventory.

Canadians demand Canadian made flag products
Our customers have asked us countless times why we don't sell Canadian provincial and territory flag patches in the 1.5"x2.5" and 2"x4" size to match our Canada maple leaf flag patches that we sell.
Well simply put up until now we have been unable to locate a supplier that stocked Canadian made flag patches for the provinces and territories in these sizes. We are proud to sell and distribute our high-quality Canadian made large flags and banners and have also looked for a manufacturer who could meet our requirements of high-quality products made by Canadians.
Today, we want to announce that we have agreed in principle to be the only distributor and seller of Canadian made flag patches for all 10 Canadian provinces and all 3 Canadian northern Territories. These patches will be the same size as our Canada flag patches in the sizes medium, 1.5"x3", and large 2"x4". They also will have an iron-on adhesive backing which will help our customers attach these beautiful high-quality products easier to clothing, hats, backpacks and other items.
These new patches will be exclusive to Canada's Patch King. We have heard that our customers want to continue to purchase products, both small and large, made by Canadians. We are very excited to be offering this new line of products. As such our current line of Canadian provincial and territory patches in the size 1.5"x2.5" will be phased out and replaced with these new patches.
As a business, we are listening to you, our loyal customers, and your needs and agree that all too often profit comes before principle for a lot of businesses. We will continue to search out where-ever and when-ever we can products that are manufactured by Canadians or with in North America.

Special collections coming soon!!!
A number of our customers have been asking us to package or compile some flag patches into groups based on various themes. We have done this in the past on a limited basis for FIFA soccer/football tournaments and other world sporting events.
However, with our increase in the number of countries we offer in flag patches we are in the process of setting up flag patch groups based on continents (North American, South America, Europe etc...) and other political and non-political entities such as the European Union (EU), NATO, Commonwealth Countries etc...
Things groupings will of course be discounted from our "per patch" regular prices. We feel providing these types of groupings will encourage people to collect all countries of a particular group at one time and it will mean less time spent by our customers clicking and adding numerous single patches to one order. We would rather have you spending only 5 minutes of your time completing a transaction rather than 30 minutes adding in all the different countries in one particular grouping.

We just wanted to leave a small entry to let everyone know that our business telephone number has changed.

We would prefer contact between 10am to 4pm EST (Toronto, New York) as those are our normal business hours. However, we are available outside those hours and we do have a lovely voice mail system, open 24 hours, readily available for you to leave us a message.
If you prefer us to return your question or comment via e-mail then please speak clearly and slowly when leaving your e-mail address for us.

List of world flag patches that we have in stock
I thought to keep myself on a role and to establish a pattern it would be a good idea for my second post to be a list of the flag patches that we currently carry in-stock. Keep in mind that we sell on many different venues and so on rare occasions we might be out of a specific country if you order from us. We are very lucky to have a number of different suppliers and manufacturers that can have an out-of-stock patches sent to us with in 1-2 business days. As such we are really never out-of-stock of any our items for very long.
So the list of countries is below sorted alphabetically. If you think there are any important countries that are missing please do leave a comment or e-mail us directly at info@canadaspatchking.com with the country flag of interest to you. We hope to have all the recognized world countries flag patches in our active stock by the spring of 2008.

Welcome to Flag Patch Country
I have no idea if anyone will actually read this blog. I just wanted to have a place where I could store some thoughts and ideas and have others comment and contribute.
For those that found yourselves here by accident, "Hi", my name is Brad and I'm Canada's Patch King, soon to be Canada's Flag King. I run a small business based in of the capital of Canada, Ottawa. I sell flags, flag patches, flag pins, NHL flags and banners, NHL logo and jersey pins and other products both locally and through my own internet site www.canadaspatchking.com . I have associates placed all over Canada that will be selling some of my items in their region but nothing has been finalized yet.
I started my business selling flag patches through eBay and expanded my business to include my own website. I've sold and shipped embroidered flag patches for world countries to all points on the globe. I'm proud to offer products that are made in Canada including our larger indoor/outdoor flags and flag patches for Canada and it's provinces and territories.
I'm not sure how often I will post to this blog or if it will even be relevant to anyone. I'm hoping that those that read this will provide constructive comments or criticism whenever possible.
